Ms Daly's 2nd and 3rd class were experimenting with the bridge building process, seeing what the best way was to build a bridge and the engineering behind it.

6th Class students made pancakes for all the children in the school with help from Ms O'Mahony and Katie.
We are delighted to have Eoin Daly from Clann na nGael GAA Club, in with us over the coming weeks. He will be delivering Gaelic football coaching to all the children in the School every Wednesday.
Drinagh NS were delighted to purchase ten new laptops recently from Drinagh Retail. These laptops will be a big asset to the School as we enter into a 3 year Robotics programme and will no doubt support a range of learning opportunities for the children.
Dave Brooks from An Taisce came to visit us to speak to all the children about what they have done to support Biodiversity in our school and community. A successful visit would help us towards our 5th green flag. Dave was very impressed by all their knowledge and initiatives.
Thanks to everyone who supported us and contributed to the 300 stickers needed from Aldi and helped us complete our first poster. We are beginning to collect for a second poster, so keep on sending in those stickers.

Spend €30 in any Aldi store and receive a rugby sticker. Send in your stickers to School and we will do the rest. All help for this would be greatly appreciated. PRIZES Two Primary Schools will win €50,000 each to develop their playing facilities. A primary school in each province will receive €2,500 worth of training equipment for their school, a training session with Paul O’Connell including a new set of school jerseys and Aldi branded water bottles. Every school who enters a fully completed poster will receive an Aldi Play Rugby kit bag, 4 rugby balls, a water bottle holder and 6 water bottles. The Children put lots of practice into their Carol Service this year. The children really out did themselves on the night and put on such a beautiful show of music and song. Well done to all the children and staff. Thank you also to our music teacher Ms French and everyone who attended on the night.
We are delighted to have Cycle Sense give children the chance to learn skills to cycle safely on today’s roads. They will complete 5 weeks with 4th, 5th and 6th class students.
